    SAM Background and History

    Sigma Alpha Mu was founded in 1909, making it one of the oldest fraternal organizations in North America. This site is to serve as a hub for all SAM news regarding expansion. Please check often, as we will be constantly adding to our new home!

    Sigma Alpha Mu’s mission is to foster the development of collegiate men by instilling strong fraternal values, offering social and service opportunities, and teaching leadership skills.  We will continue to attract members who appreciate our great heritage as a fraternity of Jewish men.
